The Bible

1) Ps 1: 1 - 2

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

2) Ps 9: 9 – 10

9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

3) Ps 10: 12 -14

12 Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.

13 Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it .

14 Thou hast seen it ; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.

4) Ps 12: 7

7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

5) Ps 16: 1 Preserve

1 …  Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.

6) Ps 17: 15

15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

7) Ps 18: 1  I will, 2

1 …  I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.

2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures

1)      407: 6 – 11, 17 - 20

Man's enslavement to the most relentless masters —

passion, selfishness, envy, hatred, and revenge — is conquered

only by a mighty struggle. Every

hour of delay makes the struggle more severe.

If man is not victorious over the passions, they crush

out happiness, health, and manhood.

Let the slave of wrong desire learn the lessons of Chrisis

tian Science, and he will get the better of that desire,

and ascend a degree in the scale of health, happiness,

and existence.

2)      406: 19 – (23)25

Resist evil — error of every sort — and it will flee from

you. Error is opposed to Life. We can, and ultimately

shall, so rise as to avail ourselves in every direction

of the supremacy of Truth over error, Life

over death, and good over evil, and this growth will go

on until we arrive at the fulness of God's idea, and no

more fear that we shall be sick and die.

3)      401: 16 – 20

What I term chemicalization is the upheaval produced

when immortal Truth is destroying erroneous mortal be-

18 lief. Mental chemicalization brings sin and sickness to

the surface, forcing impurities to pass away, as is the case

with a fermenting fluid.

4)      467: 9 – 16

It should be thoroughly understood that all men have one

Mind, one God and Father, one Life, Truth, and Love.

Mankind will become perfect in proportion as this fact

becomes apparent, war will cease and the true brotherhood

of man will be established. Having no other gods,

turning to no other but the one perfect Mind to guide

him, man is the likeness of God, pure and eternal, having

that Mind which was also in Christ.
